Rating Definition:

Fine with attractive Damascus twist patterns and engraving, light original finish on the barrel, aged patina on the silver and copper, bright gold, 25% original case colors, mostly smooth gray patina on the balance, some mild oxidation concentrated at the breech, and general mild wear. The stock is also fine aside from a crack between the lock and breech and has crisp checkering, nice figure, distinct carving, and light scratches and dings. Mechanically fine. The case and accessories are very good with mild age, storage and use related wear such as hammering marks on the face of the mallet.
