Description:

Manufactured from 1880 to 1884. Profuse period New York scroll engraving along with zig-zag line motifs on the cylinder. Matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, barrel, and barrel latch. The revolver wears a set of pearl grips with the left panel numbered to the gun in pencil. The back of each grip panel features handwritten markings in purple ink including "E.A. King" and "July".

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original nickel plating showing some very scattered light flaking. The engraving is crisp. 85% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. 90% original blue remains on the trigger guard. The grips are excellent with highly attractive fiery colors. Mechanically excellent.
