Description:

Measuring 27 1/4 inches overall, with a 19 1/2 inch blade, showing a straight hamon and fine grain, with a silver plated habaki. A protective varnish overcoat has been applied to the tsuba (iron, four-lobed with raised and gold accent vine and leaf motifs), fuchi and kashira, with a black cord wrap over floral menuki. A similar protective coating is present on the saya fittings, with a textured black lacquer finish and a small engraved kogatana with floral themed handle. The tang has no signature and two mekugi-ana. With a cloth case.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall. The blade shows scattered mild spotting, and a strong hamon. The saya shows some cracking and flaking of the finish, otherwise the accessories are good.
