World War II U.S. Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Semi-Automatic Carbine

"1-43" dated Inland barrel, Type I barrel band, "N" blade front sight, "S" two-position flip rear sight, "IO" blued flat top bolt, milled "INLAND" trigger housing, unmarked push button safety, "W-I" magazine catch, "GI" hammer and a "PI" operating rod. The main stock body is of the low wood configuration with a circled "P" proof on the rear, crossed cannons ordnance cartouche on the bottom surface of the grip, "H.I." two-rivet handguard, leather cheekpad with steel rivets, and swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. Includes oiler and canvas sling.

ConditionFine, retains 75% thin original parkerized finish on the receiver, 60% refinished parkerized finish on the barrel, with some light cycling wear, and half of the original blue finish remains on the bolt. Stock is very good with a re-glued section on the right below the receiver, a minor hairline crack on the left ahead of the recoil shield, some pressure dents on the left of the forend from contact with the folding buttplate, and a crisp proof mark.
