Manufactured in 1928. The Model 54 is the predecessor to the ever iconic Model 70. This particular rifle has standard markings including the "30 W.C.F." caliber marking. This was the only cartridge from Winchester's lever actions to become standard production, albeit the shortest lived offering of such. Fitted with a beaded blade front and peep rear sights. Mounted in a Schnabel tip checkered walnut pistol grip stock with serrated steel buttplate.
Fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and overall crisp checkering on the reoiled stock. Mechanically excellent.
