Manufactured in 2001 as a tribute to 20th century shooting icon Ed McGivern, this pistol features gold bead Patridge front and microclick rear sights. The right side of the frame has a plate attached documenting McGivern's record setting performance of 5 shots in 2/5 of a second on January 23, 1934 and 5 shots in 9/20 of a second on January 18, 1934 in Luistown, Montana. With original Heritage Series box. Collector serialized to the next lot.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, faint cylinder drag line and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with limited storage and handling marks.
