The included factory letter lists this revolver by special serial number as having a 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered in .45 Colt with charcoal blue finish, factory Class "C" engraving, hand checkered hammer accented with gold inlay border and basket weave design on the side of the hammer, gold inlaid Helfricht style fan pastern on the recoil shield, gold inlaid leaf pattern on the back strap, one gold inlaid cylinder band, one gold inlaid band at each end of the barrel extending onto the ejector tube, gold accented borders, beveled cylinder, and ".45" caliber designation cut in high relief on the front of the frame executed by Colt Master Engraver Steve Kamyk whose signature is on the back strap beneath the grip, housed in a glass top oak case with French fit burgundy interior when sold to Jim Alaimo at The 1995 Las Vegas Antique Arms Show and shipped March 20, 1995. The letter also confirms the configuration and material of the grip.
