Manufactured circa 1958-1962, the Dardick 1500 uses a novel combination of a fixed in-grip magazine, an open-sided auto-ejecting three chamber cylinder and a proprietary plastic-cased triangular cartridge dubbed the "tround". This combination permits an ammunition capacity inline with an automatic pistol while retaining the simple reliability of a revolver. Additionally, the barrel is secured with a single threaded bolt and can be rapidly detached or swapped. Includes an unnumbered factory box, an empty box of ammunition, five loose .38 Special "trounds", a .22 caliber conversion barrel, an extra 6 inch barrel in the white, period advertisement, and period brochure.

Very fine, retaining 90% original black finish with scattered handling marks, high edge wear, and light pitting on the cylinder. Rear sight absent. Grip panels are also very fine with some light discoloration and slight softening of the checkering. The trigger freezes approximately a quarter of the way through the firing sequence preventing the cylinder from rotating and the hammer from moving all the way to the rear. Box is good with storage and handling marks and tape repairs on the hinge and a corner.
