Manufactured in 1875, the standard two-line Colt address on top of the barrel and the desirable etched panel on the left marked "COLT NEW 30". The serial number is marked on the butt, "385" on the bottom of the barrel, in pencil inside both grips, and rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with a pair of rare factory checkered hard rubber grips featuring Rampant Colts and flourishes of floral scroll. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun. Very fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish and 80% of the vibrant case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and the etched panel remaining crisp. The grips are very fine with minimal handling evidence and crisp designs/checkering.
