Manufactured in 1959 as one of a mere 65 in this configuration making it one of the rarest post-war Single Action Armies. Standard markings and features as well as matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder ("522"), and both grip panels ("522") and matching assembly number on loading gate and frame. The barrel has the Buntline number "BB2640". This revolver is pictured on page 80 of Don Wilkerson's "Colt Single Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975", a copy is included, where it is cited as being shipped on March 18, 1959 and shipped to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
