This revolver is pictured on page 116 of Don Wilkerson's "Colt Single Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975", a copy of which is included, and is noted as being shipped on February 24, 1959. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, triggerguard, front cylinder face, and backstrap, with a partial serial number "830" inside the right grip.
