Manufactured c. 1830s. The smoothbore barrel has a flat top with a bead front sight and "AYLSHAM" signed on top. The underside of the barrel has two proofs that look like "crown/OP" similar to the London "crown/GP" proof with an "X" and what looks to be "STUBS" in between and a "B" at the breech. The lock is not marked. The standing breech has martial and floral engraving, and the trigger guard has a pineapple finial and floral engraving. The stock has a checkered wrist.
