Blade and folding ladder sights. The mum is ground, with proper "9/7/Type" model nomenclature on top of the receiver ring and the Kokura crest and serial number on the left side, properly off-set to clear the scope base. Matching numbers are present on the bolt, with the firing pin and bayonet lug blank. Smooth pistol grip stock with a leather sling and a cupped metal buttplate. Equipped with a 2.5x10 scope which is numbered "891" on the right and "11864" on top with a rubber eyepiece. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection
Very fine, with 85% plus original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the bolt handle and where the mum was ground off, minor spotting, and some light handling marks overall. The stock is fine, with a number of deep cuts and scuffs. The scope is in good condition, with the reticle a bit fuzzy but still clear and minor spotting on the otherwise clear glass. Mechanically excellent.
