Blade front and fixed notch rear sights, stacked "ac/41" code on left side of the slide, "eagle" firing proof and double "eagle/359" acceptance marks on the right. "ac" is present on the left side of the frame, with matching numbers on the slide, frame, barrel, locking block and the magazine floorplate, "eagle/359" proofs on many components, a full blue finish and ribbed brown plastic grips. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster dated 1941 and an extra magazine numbered to another pistol. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection
Exceptionally fine, with 85% plus of the bright original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, mild spotting and patches of gray patina concentrated on the frontstrap, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are also very fine, with a few light scratches, and the holster is fine with some scuffs and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
