Manufactured on contract for the Netherlands, many of these pistols would be used to arm the Dutch Navy and colonial forces between the World Wars. Fixed sights with "1915" on the barrel, a "crown/W" proof on the left side of the chamber, and the DWM monogram on the front toggle link. The extractor retains the traditional "GELADEN" mark, with the safety marked "RUST" and a brass plate installed on the left side of the frame marked "4 - Inf .II/4". All visible numbers are matching. Fitted with straw finished small parts, checkered grips, and an unmarked magazine base with a metal reinforcing clip in the rear. Includes a fine quality reproduction brown leather flap holster.
Fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a bright file mark on the front strap, minor pitting concentrated on the barrel, scattered light spotting and mild edge wear and handling marks overall. The small parts show over 80% of the refurbished straw color, and the grips are good, with some minor dings and dents. The holster is very good, with some mild scuffs, cracks and verdigris buildup. Mechanically excellent.
