Manufactured for commercial sale, this DWM Model 1906 Luger pistol is marked "Manufacture Francaise d'Armes & Cycles de Saint-Etienne" on top of the barrel; this firm (sometimes shortened as "St. Etienne" or "Manufrance") was a major French mail order retailer, including of imported handguns. Fixed sights, with "crown/letter (B, U, and G)" proofs on the appropriate parts, a blank chamber top, the aforementioned barrel legend and "DWM" on the front toggle link. The magazine base is unnumbered, otherwise all parts are matching.

Fine, with 75% plus original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, mild spotting, edge wear and handling marks. 50% of the original straw colors remain. The grips are fine, with a mended chip on the left side near the safety switch and mild dents and stains overall. Mechanically excellent.
