Description:

Manufactured in August of 1943. "WP" Winchester barrel, locking bar equipped Battle Range sight drums, "WRA" marked bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer and operating rod without relief cut, "WRA/GHD" inspection cartouche stamped on the left stock wrist, a circled "P" proof behind the trigger guard, "490" stamped on the underbelly of the stock and "K20" on top of the wrist. Includes olive drab green canvas sling, M1905 bayonet, and olive drab green plastic scabbard. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 80% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish with smooth brown patina on the operating rod, and some light wear to the receiver markings. 20% black painted finish remains on the gas cylinder. Stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled, with some light scratches and dings, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent.
