This gold damascened presentation Llama revolver is accompanied by a consignor supplied letter that states, "After the first Gulf War, Saddam Hussein contacted Llama and commission twelve (12) damascened Llama Deluxe Martial revolvers, to be awarded to victorious Iraqi Army and Air Force Generals. In the event, there were no such victories, and these revolvers were never picked up from Llama. Llama subsequently went bankrupt..." The gold demascene on the revolver features animal and floral designs, "LLAMA-CAL-38" on the top left of the frame, "C.M.I.-MIAMI-FLORIDA" on the top right of the frame, and an Iraqi Air Force crest on the right sideplate. Includes a wooden case and medal.
Excellent, retains 99% gold damascene and blue finishes. Grips are also excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
