This cased Single Action Army set includes a first year production second generation (gun "A") and a first year production third generation (gun "B"). Manufactured in 1956. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame (with suffix), triggerguard, backstrap, and inside the grip panels (sans suffix). Assembly number "206" marked on the front cylinder face and inside the loading gate. Includes the original Colt black box, a Colt double gun case housing both revolvers and a copy of Don Wilkerson's "Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975".
Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, light partial cylinder drag lines, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair with repairs. Case is very good.
