Manufactured in 1921 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. It is fitted with a No. 61B pinned blade front sight and a No. 44A folding ladder rear sight graduated to 200 yards. Import marked on underside of barrel. There is a saddle ring fitted to the left of the receiver. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. Provenance: The Wayne Connor Collection
Excellent plus near new, retains 99% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with a slight wear mark on the left of the receiver from the saddle ring and otherwise only the slightest handling marks. The wood is also excellent with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. It would be nearly impossible to find a Model 1894 saddle ring carbine in higher condition!
