The hunter refuses to take his eyes off the cat as it decides if it is going to go on the attack. The lower left displays the artist Philip R. Goodwin's signature. The center of the bottom of the panel has the Peters Cartridge Company logo above "THE PETERS CARTRIDGE COMPANY/AMMUNITION YOU SHOOT WITH CONFIDENCE/NEW YORK/60-62 WARREN ST. CINCINNATI, U.S.A SAN FRANCISCO/ 555 HOWARD ST." Affixed to the bottom is a May, 1930 Calendar with the Peters Cartridge Company logo at the bottom flanked by April and June calendars. This calendar is pictured on page 22 of “A Life’s Tapestry of a Collector: The Gamble Collection” by George F. Gamble and R.L. Wilson. Mounted in a wooden frame. Very good with storage and handling marks, separating frame corners, some peeling at the bottom of the poster and a crease across the bottom third. Colors remain vibrant.
