The included copy of the factory letter lists this rifle in .32 caliber with octagon barrel, plain trigger, checkered stock, pistol grip, 1/2 magazine, shotgun butt, and rubber buttplate when it was received and shipped on October 8, 1896. The rifle has standard sporting sights on the blued barrel, blued receiver, and casehardened hammer, magazine tube, and lever. "H" pattern checkered 3x walnut forend with blued cap and pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and hard rubber buttplate. Provenance: The Wayne Connor Collection
