Description:

Antique Kings Great Western Powder Company advertisement depicting a small boat captained by a man at the front. The other two passengers are women armed with double barrel shotguns on a waterfowl hunt. The two women hunters are hunting to collect feathers for decorating their hats. The visible side of the boat is painted with the King's address and the back of the boat has "QUICK SHOT" to the left of the rudder and "POPULAR/SPORTING" on the right. In the distance in the sky we can see a flock of birds flying away from the boat as one of the women point at it. Mounted in an ornately carved wooden frame. Frame measures 33 inches x 26 3/4 inches. Provenance: The George F. Gamble Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine with storage and handling marks, some staining at the edges, and some light flaking of the paint.
