The rifle features a 20 inch round tapered featherweight barrel, cocking indicator, pinned beaded blade front sight, and Savage marked rear sight with elevator and sight notch windgauge adjustment. Import marked on underside of barrel. Mounted on a standard grade straight grip non-checkered, slight perch belly stock with Savage logo buttplate and matching Schnabel tipped forend. Per the included Savage Arms Historical Services factory letter (copy) the takedown configuration in .22 High Power caliber is confirmed as well as being shipped on June 30, 1914 to Wood Vallance & Co. of Hamilton, Ontario. Excellent, retaining 90% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. The wood is fine with typical short stress lines at the upper tang, some scattered handling marks, and a coat of oil applied. Mechanically excellent.
