Description:

This framed Colt advertisement depicts a woman in western clothing armed with a Colt double action revolver bringing a jaguar which she has roped from horseback to its untimely end. In the background her horse seems startled by the predator tangled in the foreground. In the lower left is text reading "REVOLVERES y/PISTOLAS AUTOMATICAS/COLT". Mounted in a wooden frame. Frame measures 27 1/2 inches x 31 1/2 inches. Provenance: The George F. Gamble Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent with limited storage and handling marks and the slightest creasing near the top left. Coloration remains vivid.
