Desirable World War II German Kriegsmarine Marked Mauser Model 1934 Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured from 1936-1941, this is one of approximately 23,000 Mauser Model 1934 pistols procured by the German Kriegsmarine. The one-line Oberndorf address on the left side of the slide, "Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right, the Mauser banner and Variation 1 "eagle/swastika/M" on the left side plate, and "N/3310" on the front strap. These markings are typical for a sidearm in the Kriegsmarine inventory, specifically one processed and issued through a depot on the North Sea (or "Nordsee" in German). It is fitted with a checkered walnut wraparound grip. These pistols are discussed, with similar examples pictured, on p. 165-172 of "Axis Pistols" by Jan C. Still.

ConditionVery fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina and some scattered speckling of light surface oxidation. The grip is very good with some light chipping near the bottom, some scattered light handling marks, and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
