Pinched blade front sight, three leaf rear sight, "J.M" inspection initials on the left barrel flat at the breech, and two boxed script inspection cartouches stamped on the left of the wrist.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 60% plus original blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance, 40% original case colors, scattered light freckling and some patches of light pitting, and sharp markings and edges in the metal. Stock is very fine, with some scattered scratches and dents, some darkened areas of stain at the edges, and crisp cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
