Description:

Manufactured c. 1840-1850. The smoothbore barrels have border engraving and lugs on the bottom for removal with a barrel wrench (not included). The bottom of the actions at the breeches have "16" and London proofs. The action has scroll engraving, folding triggers, sliding safeties, and "CLARK/LONDON" on the left. The grips are finely checkered and have silver escutcheons. Provenance: The Henk L. Visser Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good with patches of vibrant original case colors in the protected areas and otherwise mottled gray patina, crisp checkering, some light oxidation, and minor overall wear. The grip is also very good and has some minor wear on the otherwise crisp checkering and light dings. Mechanically fine.
