This is a unique example of a long barrel DWM Model 1920 Commercial Luger semi-auto pistol that was assembled by the Germans in the years following World War I. Blade front, notch rear and tangent mid sights, with a blank chamber, "crown/N" marked receiver and breechblock, and "DWM" marked front toggle link. The long barrel is unmarked save for the witness mark on the underside; two such marks are present on the underside of the receiver. The grips and magazine base are unnumbered, with the other components numbered in the "commercial" pattern. Provenance: The Art Buchanan Collection
