Manufactured by Erma, these conversion kits allow a standard K98k rifle to be rapidly reconfigured to a .22 caliber repeater for inexpensive training. One simply removes the original bolt and floor plate, inserts the Erma receiver/barrel sleeve assembly into the K98k receiver, and installs the included magazine well. Waffenamt eagle proofs present on various components. Serial number "6621" marked on the receiver, and the bolt is numbered "6736". "1936" dated magazine housing and magazine. The entire lot fits in a well cut transport case. "E.L.24" is marked on the receiver as well as "5./J.R.13.10." (the latter is also repeated on the case). Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection
Very fine, retains 75% original blue finish with some scattered small dings on the front of the receiver, with bright surfaces and brown patina on the balance, with some light freckling on the bolt handle. Included case is very good with scattered scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
