Manufactured during World War II, fixed front and rear sights, with matching numbers and "WaA140" proofs visible on the barrel, slide, and frame, and the FN address/Browning patent markings on the slide. The grips are checkered plastic, and the dinged up magazine is finished in blue and unmarked.
Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the back straps and edges, as well as some scattered spots on top of the slide. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
