The top of the barrel extension is dated 1914, the toggle is marked "DWM", the right side of the barrel extension has the three Crown over Script proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof and the left side has the four digit serial number that matches the frame and barrel, with matching numbers on the small parts and wood based magazine renumbered "2612/c". The Imperial Eagle proof is also marked on the top of the barrel and left side of the toggle. The bottom of the barrel is marked "8.82" below the serial number. The safety and extractor are correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN", respectively. 'Straw' colored components. The sights are a fixed front and notch rear. The backstrap has the stock lug. Checkered walnut grips.
Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, small patches of brown patina and scattered spotting. The original straw colors are 60% intact. Grips are very fine, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
