Fixed sights, with the American Eagle on the chamber, "DWM" on the front toggle link, and the "GERMANY" import mark on the front of the frame. Chambered in 9MM Parabellum, whereas most are in the more commonly encountered 7.65mm Luger Auto, with a small stamp on the left side of the barrel, either an incomplete "B" or a Cyrillic "Be". The extractor is marked "LOADED", and the lower safety position is polished bright. The grips, magazine base and some small parts are unnumbered; otherwise, the numbers are matching overall in "commercial" style. Fitted with straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and a nickel magazine with a scarce "Cal 9 m/m" marked hardwood base. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection
Fine as professionally refinished, with 80% of the current blue, showing a few areas of emerging gray on the grip straps and barrel, bright edge wear, and minor spotting and handling marks. About 70% bright straw color is present on the small parts, and the grips are also fine, with a few light dings on the sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
