Manufactured in the 1980s to be a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker side by side shotgun, this example has standard floral scroll engraving with a dog on point on each side of the action and three pheasants in a field scene on the underside. The barrels have a single brass bead sight on the matte concave solid rib, modified/full chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. It has blue barrels, buttplate and trigger guard and casehardened remaining parts. It is mounted on a very nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut forearm with engraved hardware and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, lightly engraved skeletonized buttplate, checkered bare butt, and gold initial oval. It includes a Parker Reproduction leather takedown case with outer canvas cover, two nickel snap caps, and keys. Includes an extra 26 inch solid rib barrel set with 2 3/4 inch chambers and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Additional barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .551/.551 inches; wall thickness at nine inches from breech .0345/.0345 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; 14 1/4 inch length of pull. Near new with original finish. Displaying some light handling marks. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering, small handling marks, and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with light handling and storage marks.
