This custom rifle was built on a Model 1917 receiver and converted to a cock on open action. Manufactured without sights and with medium-heavyweight, tapered barrel marked "WALTER ABE - RIFLEMAKER - L.A. CALIF." and drilled and tapped receiver. Checkered pistol grip stock with rosewood forend and grip caps, raised cheekpiece, and solid rubber recoil pad.

Excellent overall as custom made with 99% finish remaining with a few light handling and cycling marks. The stock is also excellent with sharp checkering and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
