Late World War II Mauser "SVW/45" Code Dual-Tone P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster

Fixed sights, with "P.38" and "svw/45" on the left side of the slide ahead of the serial number, "WaA135" and "eagle/swastika" proofs in the traditional locations, and matching numbers on the slide, frame, barrel and locking block. With a pair of ribbed black plastic grips and a "WaA135" marked magazine. Included with the lot is a black leather holster stamped "DLU/1944" and hand-marked "GUICE", and an extra magazine. Guice has not been identified. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection

ConditionExcellent. The barrel retains 95% of the original blue finish, with some minor spotting and rubbing, and the slide and frame retain 97% of the matte gray phosphate finish, showing some mild spotting and edge wear. The grips are also excellent, with some light scratches, and the holster shows some scuffing and cracking but remains generally solid. Mechanically excellent.
