Manufactured at Waffenfabrik-Bern in Switzerland and patterned on the DWM Model 1906 Luger pistol with several key differences employed to enhance production speed. Fitted with a standard inverted "V" blade front and integral rear notch on the rear toggle. The distinctively Swiss features include the lack of knurling or checkering on the takedown lever, safety, magazine release, and the cocking knobs on the toggle train. The grip safety is also longer than the German 1906 and is yoked to the rear grip strap. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, receiver, frame, and rear toggle link, with "P" on the left side of the chamber, "rifle through N" and "+" proofs on multiple parts, desirable red checkered plastic grips and matching red colored magazine base. The center toggle is stamped with the Geneva cross inside a shield. Includes a correct Swiss pattern leather holster marked "O.PLUSS/ZOFINGEN/43" between the belt loops.
Excellent, with 98% original matte blue finish, showing some bright edge wear and mild handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with sharp checkering, and the holster shows mild scuffs, stains and verdigris buildup. Mechanically excellent.
