The correct British acceptance proofs are located on the underside of the stock at the wrist along with "S51" behind the pistol grip area indicating conversion by H&H. The reproduction scope is marked "TEL SIGHTING/No32MkII/OS.1650A/1944 No16856" on the tube, and it has the standard post and cross-hair reticle pattern, and is fitted in an unmarked reproduction cast scope mount. Includes a period tan/green canvas scope case, reproduction tan canvas rifle soft case, reproduction brown leather scope covers, and reproduction tan canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 95% wartime arsenal applied blackened oil finish on the receiver, bolt, stock socket, bands and trigger guard, and 85% original blue finish on the barrel and forend cap with a few small areas of light pitting. Wood is also very fine with defined edges, some light handling marks, a few cracks visible on top ahead of the buttplate, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Reproduction scope and mount are both excellent with crisp/clear optics.
