The non-registered .357 revolvers are much more rare than their Registered Magnum model counterparts with only about 1,400 manufactured compared to about 5,400 Registered Magnums. The included factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, blue finish, a King bead sight, and checkered walnut grips when it was shipped to H & D Folsom Arms Co., New York, NY, on February 2, 1940. Adjustable square notch rear sight, humpback hammer, right grip panel renumbered to match the gun, and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder and ejector shroud.

Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original finish, minor handling evidence, numerous small marks on the left of the barrel, light cylinder drag line, and sharp checkering on the replacement grips. Mechanically excellent.
