The included factory letter states that this gun was part of a 45 gun shipment (20 blue and 25 nickel) all of which had 5 inch barrels, the records do not specify which serial numbers had which finish. The shipment was sent to Wolf & Klar of Fort Worth, TX, on January 30, 1927. Right grip panel numbered to another gun. Matching numbers found on butt, cylinder, and ejector shroud.

Very fine, retaining 75% plus original nickel finish with a few areas showing light frosting, minor spotting in areas, light handling evidence, some wear on the grip edges, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
