Rating Definition:

Extremely fine. This fine English duck gun has been professionally restored to an extremely high standard and retains nearly all its renewed finish. The engraving is crisp throughout, the blued finish to the barrel is a deep color, and the casehardened finish is bright with bold patterns. There are corrosion spots beneath the barrel finish running beneath the edges of the forearm wood. The gun has been restocked with a magnificent stock blank and has been finished and fitted to a very high standard. The “Tolley” name and details have been added at the same time as the gun was restored. Mechanically excellent. A rare opportunity to acquire a 140 year old wildfowling gun in “as new” condition!
