This bronze depicts a Native American warrior on horseback. The warrior leans forward to keep a low profile and avoid detection by the enemy his horse is charging up on. Clutched in his left hand is his trusty spear and his right has his riding crop to keep his trusty companion on the move. The bottom left edge of the piece is signed "Frederic Remington" and filled in with gold paint. The piece rests on a marble base with a brass plaque with the title of the piece below the above signature. Measures 8 1/2x26x22 inches.

Very good with storage and handling marks and a couple scratches on the base.
