These derringers were introduced in 1870, manufactured until 1912, and totaled around 48,000 produced. The top of the barrel has a rounded blade front sight and "COLT" in large italic letters and the bottom of the barrel has small British proofs. The serial number is on the left of the grip frame and hand marked in ink inside the right grip panel. The left of the frame is marked with "C" followed by a Rampant Colt. Includes a leather wrapped "pipe" style case.
