The Remington-Elliot was an improved version of the "Zig-Zag" pepperbox using a fixed barrel group with a rotating hammer assembly and double action ring trigger, setting the distinctive pattern for Remington's later pocket pistols. It has the matching serial number on the bottom of the action and barrel, a blade front sight, single line address on the left of the barrel group and single line patent marking on the right, and smooth pearl grips. Includes a fitted hardwood case with an empty cartridge block.
