Description:

Manufactured in Stamford, Connecticut with a mix of new-made and military surplus components, this is a fine copy of the famous Mark II STEN submachine gun. A heavily streamlined weapon built around a tubular receiver and an open bolt action, the STEN and its variants saw Great Britain through and beyond the Second World War. Blade front and peep rear sights, with a short ventilated sleeve around the barrel, a 1943 dated Long Branch magazine well with Chinese nomenclature on top, stamped trigger housing with DLO markings on the left, and a stamped tubular buttstock. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the refinished matte gray phosphate finish, showing some light scuffing and spotting overall. The buttstock retains 90% blue finish, showing some light scratches and wear. The fit of the bolt to the receiver tube and ejector is tight, interfering with the firing cycle, though the trigger and selector mechanism are both in fine order. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
