Manufactured in Austria as a semi-automatic copy of the AUG infantry rifle, this example has been upgraded into a close copy of the "HBAR/LMG" variant of the AUG, including selective fire capacity. The receiver is fitted with a integral optical sight and backup iron sight in the carry handle, with "BTR" (April 1983) date code on the underside. The barrel is mixed numbered, with a ported muzzle brake, folding sheet metal bipod, and "BDT" (April 1998) code. The bolt carrier is numbered to match the receiver, and the standard markings are present on the stock assembly. With the hammer pack installed, the trigger operates in a staged selective mode, with a short pull firing a single shot and a long pull firing in full automatic. Also included is two extra magazines and two extra bolt heads.
