Originally produced by Colt in 1924, this pistol was subsequently selected for arsenal upgrade to a National Match competition-grade pistol by Springfield Armory. Serrated Patridge blade front sight and "US" marked Elliason adjustable rear sights, with a Colt "NM7791435" slide, "7267718/NM" bushing, and "NM 7791414" barrel ( additionally numbered to the frame), and an "WGP" frame with "SA", "NM", and "T" stamps. Equipped with a long serrated adjustable trigger, serrated narrow hammer, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, checkered grips and a two total full blue magazines electro penciled with matching serial number to the gun. Includes an original arsenal box with correct stamped markings and hand numbered to the gun.

Exceptionally fine as arsenal upgraded to National Match configuration, retains 99% of the parkerized finish with some very light edge wear and scattered light handling marks. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
