Manufactured in 1945, the left side of the slide is marked with the standard two-line Remington-Rand address and a "P" on top. The left side of the frame has the "FJA" inspection mark, "P" below the magazine release, and "1" on the trigger guard. The standard U.S. property, serial number, and model designation are marked on the right side, along with "O" and "H" on the trigger guard. The full blue barrel is marked "HS" and "P" on the lug. It is fitted with blade and notch sights, serrated slide release, checkered thumb safety and narrow hammer, short stamped trigger, serrated mainspring housing, checkered Keyes Fiber grips, and a "G" marked full-blue magazine.

Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original parkerized finish with some light edge/holster type wear and a few scattered small patches of brown patina on the trigger guard. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered minor blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
