W.D. Pease joined the Knife Makers Guild in 1976 and has been a full-time knife maker since 1978. Pease's maker's mark is on the left of the blade and "91SM36" is on the right. It measures 7 7/8 inches overall with the blade open, and the tanto-style blade measures 3 1/2 inches. Both sides of the bolster have been finely engraved with gold accented acanthus scroll on a stippled background which is signed "M.WALDROP" on the bottom. It is fitted with a pair of heavily textured/grained mammoth tooth grip scales.

Excellent, the metal components almost entirely bright with very little visible handling evidence. The grip scales are also excellent with the typical ages open texture of the material. Mechanically excellent.
