Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Perazzi markings, light engraving around the breech, 1998 dated Italian proofs, interchangeable chokes (modified/improved modified installed), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished action displays extensive scroll engraving with floral bouquets surrounding three beautifully cut game scenes. The left side shows a pair of snipe above a field scene, the right shows a trio of snipe in flight in a forested scene, and the underside shows a pointer with a snipe he has just retrieved in his mouth. The scroll engraving extends to the toplever, top tang, and triggerguard. The triggerplate is singed "Bottega C. Giovanelli INC Dario Cortini" to the right of the trigger for Italian Master Engraver Dario Cortini, who is the head engraver at Bottega C. Giovanelli. The gun features a single/selective gold washed trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Outstanding, exhibition quality, fancy checkered forend with blued matching engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release, and pistol grip Monte Carlo stock with right hand palm swell and Kick-Eez recoil pad. Included is an extra set of 28 inch barrels that have been honed out to act as carriers for the Kolar full length subgauge inserts, one pair in each .410 bore, 28 gauge, and 20 gauge. Also included is an aluminum takedown case, a Perazzi factory takedown case, and ten extra 12 gauge chokes, three extra 20 gauge chokes, four extra 28 gauge chokes, and two extra .410 bore chokes. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and measured .726/.725 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.032 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 1 13/16 inch drop at heel; 12 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.

Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with some varnish wear, a few light dings and scratches, and sharp checkering. The carrier barrel is very good with a few superficial dents and the inserts are excellent. The barrel side ribs are loose near the breech; otherwise, the gun is mechanically fine.
